Ryan Seong is a Los Angeles-based talent manager working with primarily musicians.

Ryan grew up in Connecticut playing in rock bands while also studying classical and jazz music. He studied economics and music composition at Occidental College. Shortly after starting college, he became an intern at a small music PR firm, Force Field PR. He quickly rose to a full-time publicist and started working on campaigns for artists such as Beach House, Neon Indian, St. Vincent, Sufjan Stevens, Toro Y Moi, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, WAVVES and more. After a short intermission to work on his own music, Ryan rejoined the music PR world helping out artists such as DJ Snake, Kaytranada, Tyler the Creator, Zeds Dead, and many more.

Ryan shifted from public relations to talent management working independently with several artists until joining the management company / record label, Transparent Arts. There, Ryan assisted with operations across all their departments (artist management, record label, publishing, etc.) with the main focus on the Korean rock band, The Rose. Ryan helped The Rose with their return album, HEAL. With that album, the band achieved their first Billboard Top 200 album charting, sold out tours throughout the world in support of the album, and reached a newfound level of international fandom.
Ryan now operates his own management company, Motif Management. His initial main focus has been supporting the artist / producer, Shawn Wasabi. Since working together, Shawn has shifted primarily to producing for other artists. He contributed music to a TV episode that won an Annie award, (Arcane: Season 2 – “The Dirt Under Your Nails”), produced on several charting albums and singles from different artists, and achieved his first Top 40 production with KATSEYE’s “Internet Girl”. Shawn has also been producing music for movies with several feature films featuring his music debuting in the next year.
